Artist Bio

Painting what she loves, the outside world and in particular, animals, domestic and wild, are what inspire Jacquie the most. 

Her years as a graphic designer, and love of vintage papers and typography, add complexity and meaning that can be seen in her work. She often hears comments from people viewing her work that it's beautiful from a distance, but gets more and more interesting the closer they get. She is also told that she perfectly captures the spirit of her subjects, which is the greatest compliment she receives, as that is her goal in every painting. With every piece Jacquie creates, she endeavors to pay tribute to the animals we share our world with.

To create her work, she uses a variety of mediums and materials including vintage papers, antique sheet music and books, stamps, maps, handmade papers, watercolors, acrylics, pens and found objects.
