Artist Bio
Jacquie Masterson is a Spokane artist known for her evocative mixed media artworks that blend painting, collage, and textile elements. Her work often explores themes of identity, memory, and the passage of time, using layers of texture and color to create depth and complexity. Masterson’s pieces invite viewers to engage with personal narratives and emotional landscapes, encouraging reflection and connection. Through her innovative approach, she transforms everyday materials into profound expressions of the human experience, making her work relatable and thought-provoking. To create her work, she uses a variety of mediums and materials, including vintage papers, antique sheet music and books, stamps, maps, handmade papers, watercolors, acrylics, pens and found objects.
